What to Expect at Your First Visit to a Psychologist Maroochydore?

Many people feel a little anxious coming to see a psychologist for the first time. This is understandable. Please know that we will endeavour to do whatever we can to make you feel safe and comfortable.

The first session is an opportunity for you to begin to share the concerns that bring you to therapy. In the first session, the psychologist will collect some history and commence an assessment. The psychologist may ask you some specific questions to help determine what your needs are and to help develop a plan together for future sessions.

Telehealth Counselling Australia-Wide – Connect in Comfort

Telehealth psychology is a great way to connect with your psychologist from the comfort of your home or office. All you need is a computer with a camera, a microphone and access to Wi-Fi and we can connect for therapy when and where you need it.

Recent studies indicate that telehealth is a highly effective mode for therapy, and many of my clients appreciate the convenience and flexibility it offers.

Linda has been providing telehealth counselling to her clients since 2020.  As such, she is skilled at building good connections with her clients just as easily as if they are in the office with her.  This means you’ll get the same level of quality psychology care through telehealth counselling as in person counselling.
