Psychology Maroochydore Services and Fees
The schedule of fees for our psychology Maroochydore practice from 1 July 2026 are as follows:
Standard Individual 50-minute psychology consultation: $220.00
Psychology Supervision: $160.00 (4+2 or 5+1 provisional psychologists or other individual practitioners) Group supervision fees may be negotiated.
DVA and Victims of Crime Counselling: No out-of-pocket expenses with third-party approval/permissions
NDIS Capacity-Building Counselling and Therapy: As per NDIA schedule of fees.
Workcover/ Insurers: $260.00
Telehealth Counselling: Same fees as face-to-face sessions.
Cancellations: 24 hours’ notice must be given for cancellations, otherwise a cancellation fee will be charged.
Reports and Letters: We are able to provide brief letters of attendance at no cost during the time of your consultation. Medico-legal reports are not provided.
GP Referred Mental Health Care Plans, Medicare & Out-of-Pocket Costs
Care Psychology operates as a private billing practice. To maintain the highest quality of dedicated clinical care, we do not bulk bill. To be able to process the Medicare rebate, Medicare require the account to be paid prior to processing the rebate. This means that when you attend our practice with a GP mental health care plan, we process payment for your session and then process your Medicare rebate online. The rebate then goes back into the account you have set up with Medicare (usually overnight). The standard Medicare rebate is $98.95, which means you will have an out-of-pocket gap of approximately $111.
